Is it normal for me to have gotten rock chips already after just having my lip painted with constant highway driving??

 

Yes, highway miles are your lip/bumpers worst enemy

 

yes. my front bumper has so many rock chips in it from highway driving...nothing u can really do about it either

 

Damn...and its only been two days! But since those two days Ive driven 120mi on the highway!!

 

its usually the carpool lane or any lanes closest to the outsides of the freeway that contain debri. unfortunately i always use the carpool lane.

 

try not to follow big *** trunks, or follow too close.

The front of my car is one big rock chip so don't feel too bad.

True, mine hides the chips pretty well, much better than a painted one

 

Ill get that plus the hood after my wallet is full again..


$1500 into your engine dosent leave much time for cosmetics

 

does a carbra help your bumper from getting rockchips? if they do, does honda make it for Ek's

Yeah, there's one part that covers the front of the hood, then another that goes over the bumper.

Formula One has this clear plastic covering that looks invisible and will protect against rock chips.

The local shop just did a spanking new vettes whole front end and you cant even tell. Weird huh?

I think he has me talked into putting some of that on my front bumper to protect against cone damage (like I ever hit 'em anyways lol)
