Auto-X in So CA. WHERE?
I want to start autocrossing, but the question is where?
Doesn't look like SCCA Solo II rolls by the LA/Orange County areas...only San Diego.

Early in the year, and sometimes for the last auto-x, they return to Hollywood Park in Inglewood. The surface is a little loose, but it doesn't destroy your tires; not like El Toro does.
There are even elevation changes, big enough to drive the high power rear drive cars a little out of sorts. My TransAm used to get waaay loose cresting the hump in the back of the parking lot.
But I digress, again.

Not anymore. Wal-Mart bought the lot to build a store there, so it's no longer available. Our last event there was last month.

You're kidding me.
Guess that explains why the SCNAX event was "Farewell Hollywood Park". That really bums me out.
