Default koni yellow problem (please help, i'm installing tomorrow)

i recently bought a used (for 1 year) set of koni yellows. since i'm planning on installing them this weekend, i pulled them out to have a look. i tried putting the **** on and giving them a turn to see what it was going to be like, but it just keeps spinning around and around. there doesn't seem to be any point of resistance or any 'stopping point'. i can spin the **** 10 or 15 times around (both directions) and it doesn't stop. is this normal? the directions say the difference between fully firm and soft is 1.5 turns. why can i turn it so much more than that?

are they f-ked up or what?

Don't know your answer, but I'd never buy used struts. Struts only have a 12,000 mile life on them so if they've been used for one year, I wouldn't even run them.

I just got a new set of koni yellows and it says that you can turn it to stiffen it as many turns as possible but you should not turn them more then one full turn but if you turn them the other way it should stop. you may have broken them turning them 15 times...sucks...It would not worry about them being used because koni's are tuff. Do you mind if I asked how much you payed for them?

why wouldn't they stop? without a stopping point, how do you know how firm they are?
