Default Brake question.

My pedal goes hard. High rpm, 2/3 through the Auto X course.
It happened with the stock fronts, it happens now.
The fluid was changed to Valvoline Syn.
Rear drums are stock. And adjusted.

The engine is a D15b7 (dx) with a '89 CRX Si cam in it.
Vacuum problem? Over cooking something?

If you're cooking the pads, those are some crappy pads. Unless you have VGX pads (which Whitney got to fade at a 40sec autocross), that's probably not it. Even nothing-special street pads are usually adequate for auto-x.

I'm leaning towards vacuum issues.
