ok, how much is this thing worth? new or used?

I can't find any info on this deck except for eclipse-web, and the distributor company i called listed on that site was closed..errr

anyone here anything about this deck specifically? i know eclipse makes good HU, but just wondering about this deck since this is the one i'm interested in buying.

You can check that out for more info on the headunit. I can't help you with the price, but the 8053 goes for about $520 here in the states. I'd figure that the 8443 was about $100 less.
