Hey i just picked up a set of DropZone coilovers, they look like they are made of pretty good quality if anybody wants to know. Anyways, what are these little black circular rubber gasket thingies and what do they do? do i need them? anybody have a detailed how to on how to install these?

 

yes they are good coilovers. if you try to put them over your strut you will see they bang around cause teh sleve is to big. so you use the rubber to make it fit stung and be centered on teh strut. I love my drop zones

 

those things you put between the spring and the perches so it doesn't rub and squeak! they go on top and the bottom of the springs here is the order

starting from the bottom...bottom perch-gasket-spring-gasket-top perch

but i have a bunch for each coilover, there is probably 10-15 of them per coilover???

 

if you look at them they should be different sizes...use 2 of which ever fit the best for each strut, and put the others somewhere incase a friend needs them some day..thats what i did and a friend actually needed a few one time...

 

hey man i'm in need of 2 of those things actually for my coilovers cuz 2 of them ripped apart and i can't get them anywhere! if you can send me a couple that would be great!

 

ok, after looking these back over it looks like i only have the black rubber things for the rear??? But there are still about 20 of them. For the front i have a white paper type gasket i guess, what are these??? Please help these are supposed to go on today!!! it would really work if someone had a detailed how to on how to install these? thx
