is it true that the 92-93 integra xsi came with a ys1 cable b16 with 170 HP??

 

I'm not sure about the 170hp, but the 92-93 Integra XSi came with a B16a and a YS1 lsd cable trans.

 

Those tranny are the bomb---my boy got one in his rex and that bad boy rips both tires the fawk up. Real close gearing too. Good luck finding one though, they are very sought after.

 

yeah i hear ya i have a sir/xsi b16 swap in my 91 hatch it is the bomb

 

they came with J1 trannies, too.

no 170hp, though.. still the same

 

steve from hmotorsonline told me that they are obd1 and have a ys1 tranny and that they come with 170 and if i want it obd0 he has to change the distro and injectors he said its like the american gsr and liek the second gen b16 the obd1 one so i dono i wish i knew if it was 170 hp

 

also think about it its not 88-91 which is obd0 its from a 92-93 integra rsi /xsi i think and it was obd1 like the 92 civic hatch sir so i dono i wish i had real facts if this is a 160 hp engine or a 170 does any one know??

no its still only 160. the sir2 has 170 because of higher compression pistons

 

Are you sure its only 160? I wouldnt think honda would bother with putting out the exact same motor with diffrent pistons for the same years. I always thought that the only b16 that was rated at 160 was the 1st gens. After obd0 they all came with 170. Ive read that our Honda civic Sir (Candian Sir/US Si the coupe not the new hatch) was acually 170hp, but they claimed 160 so as to not get into GSR territory.Dyno numbers seem to suggest this is right. I dunno though, anyone got any solid facts or a know a page that does?

 

yeha thats what i am saying cause steve from hmotors says that it is a obd1 b16 from a 92-93 integra rsi/xsi and that it has 170 hp and a ys1 tranny like the 92-95 civic sir i wish i knew the facts....
