Nothing really spectacular since it was so wet, but you can see my mAd dRiFt SkilLZ through T-1&2 on crappy tires. We were all crawling through the wet VHT on the back section. The video is mainly from practice and qualifying. Please excuse the profanity, but I couldn't find a good line through there and I was getting pissed off about it. Keep in mind this is a old airport runway and taxiway.

nice vid. i can only wish i were that smooth with the steering wheel as you were, especially in the wet. the profanity was unacceptable though!

haha, profanity... If I said anything I would be a hypocrit. Last summer I had problems with my shocks bottoming out. The car was pushing like a pig. One of the workers from the course came up to me later and told me he had heard me cursing through an entire 3-turn series... oops!

 

Yeah, sorry about that. I couldn't get that corner right and I wasn't happy about it. If you watch the video over, you can see me trying different lines through there. The middle was drying out slightly so I tried that line more often, but I couldn't get the car through in the middle without loosing it a bit. The later I turned in, the better it got, but I was still crawling.
It oversteered there, and plowed at the top of the track leading onto the main straight.

Nice driving, although I think your car is setup funny... you would turn the wheel to the right and it'd keep going to the left... weird. Nice catches.

A friend of mine has a Talon with water-cooled... umm... everything. Water injection, a sprayer in front of the intercooler, water-cooled brakes, even a tube for his consumption in the cockpit... At the beginning of the weekend before he unpacks, his car looks like the poster child for Perrier.

Clicking sound? I don't hear it. Maybe something loose in the car flopping around. You don't mean the throttle blip do you?

I'm surprised the passenger camera turned out so stable. Proof that the IOPort camera mount works.

 

Scan to 2:14, for example. I heard the sound a few different times...

 

Hmmm. I hear it now. Great.... one more noise to track down. I don't think it's anything bad, but I'll keep my eyes open.
