I purchased a set of camber kits for the front of my 94 accord. The car drives like sh*** I feel every bump on the road and it feels like the kit is about to come loose or something. I wanted to know what is the proper way to get this to work correctly? I did a 1.8 drop.

 

i think i know wat ur talkin about... do the shocks bottom out and it sounds like the control arm hits the inner fender wall? u might want to shave some of the inner fender wall. What kind of shocks are u riding on? if they are stock, you might want to replace them too.

 

Yes the control are was hitting the upper walls on the fender. I was able to bend it to fix that problem, but it is still feeling loose. I here metal hitting something. I have tokico blues on the front, brand new with the bump stop cut in half.

 

hmm... u might be wanting to replace the cut bumpstops with stock ones again... cause those do help against the hitting... i mean people said cuttin them will make for a better ride...but i didnt really notice... b4 i cut the front bump stops... it didnt bang against the fender wall... but after they cut em... my car seemed to sit a bit lower which in turn caused the hittin... try it im pretty sure it will work... either that or get higher springs bro...up to u

You bent the control amrs?

Is that even safe?

 

Is shaving them safe? I'd rather bend than shave.

 

You got the rubber bushing camber kit didn't you? I had the same floaty, loose feeling when I put my rubber bushing kit on.... It's just the way the rubber bushings feel.....

Also... how far out do you have the kit adjusted? Did you get an alignment? If not.... you really need to get one. eyeballing doesn't work at all...
If you just put it on without an alignment, the kit might be adjusted out too far giving you positive camber, which would amplify the weird handling characteristics. Just adjust it to the minimum until you can get an alignment....you'll get used to the spongey rubber bushing feeling...or get a kit with polyurethane bushings and enjoy the squeaking....
