Who's going to MirrorKanna @ Camden?

Anyone else psyched about this?
I've been thinking about this all week. It's been a while since I've been this excited about racing. I guess head to head racing is "better?". I've never done a ProSolo before, but I have a feeling after this, I may seek one out.
The first level of competition has already been asigned so I've been thinking about how, in my hardly CSP car, I'm going to beat Brian Yoder in his HS CRX. The PAX is against me, but the crazy mojo is on my side.
Later that evening about 4 of us are getting together to do some GranTurismo3 i.link racing... if anyone is interested.

I'm in. And I'm psyched! This event is going to be awesome. I don't even care if I loose my first two matchups and get eliminated. It should be a very exciting event just as a spectator. My first matchup is against a SuperStock 2002 BMW M3 .

I might be there to spectate. It's been awhile since someone did an Austrailia Pursuit/MirrorKhana
It's fun. When I did it I caught the guy I was against and they had to red flag me

What a kick-*** event. The course was a large oval with many offset slolums, a hair pin turn, a long 180 degree plus sweeper and a couple "thread-the-needle" gates.
Two competitors lined up on opposite sides of the course and "chased" each other around the course 2 times. Once the flag was raised, a "drag race type launch" then followed. Competitors passed through the start gate once, then finished at the same gate.
I found it more satisfying then a "normal" autocross since it seems to take me a while to figure out a course. By circling twice, we had the chance to run through the same areas right away and chisel away at reducing our time.
The PAX (index) was used to even up the field, and double elimination insured each driver had at least two runs = 4 times around the course. Each time I was knocked out, it was by one of those pesky STS/STX scoobies. I had to beat one guy by like 4.5 seconds. Eventhough I lost, I felt good because I beat him by like 2.5 or something.
Kudos to the event host, Philadelphia Region SCCA @ the Camden "Waterfront" lot.
Just sharing.
PS, an ITR wound up second.
