for those of you w/ b16 ef and who go to track days ... meaning road course, not 1/4 mile ... do you hang w/ the other types of cars on the track or do you sometimes wish you were running ls/vtec or b18 ? i have a dd crx that i want to build into a budget track car so i want to stay 1st gen B if it will give me the desired results but if it is lagging i want to just go big to start off with. i will be racing at VIR and there are the obligatory porsche/viper guys there and i don't want to be huggin the outsides of the curves to let them go by!!

There's a guy here by the name of Driven that has a CRX with a B16, and autoX.
I'm sure he can help you out.
Also you might want to ask this question in the Road Racing/ Autocross forum.
They would probably be able to give you more insight.
