Default also posted in autox: VTEC SOH F22B1 a JDM only engine?

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=478292

the above is the thread I posted in your autox forum, and the question concerns SCCA update / backdate legality for a nonvtec SOHC F22B2 / auto swap to a VTEC F22B1 / 5 speed. the car is a '94-'97 generation Accord.

Preliminary reports from other sources suggest the F22B1 is a JDM only engine. Is it?

thanks in advance.

matt

Funny... I have one in my USDM Accord... No, the F22B is JDM, but F22B1/B2 are found in the US marketplace.

thanks for the info guys. Any / all further info is welcome...as well as a good resource for the non-Honda folks like me to get up to speed on JDM v. NonJDM Honda engines for various cars. Know any good accurate web sites that have this kind of info?
