you getting any CELs? sounds like a MAP sensor acting up or something along those lines..peace

 

i would sya map too, but if ur throwing no codes(check to c if ur light works)then it shouldnt be. Map sensor is quick to let you know somethings wrong. Maybe your low on fluid? I just want to make sure your not overlooking the obvious.

 

What color is the smoke coming out the exhaust? If it is white and your having over heating problems I would guess that you've got some sort of head gasket problems.

 

I hate to say it but it sounds alot like a cracked head gasket

 

I've seen this stuff you can add to your coolant that will show if your burning coolant. I don't remember what it was called or how it worked. I think it might be like that stuff you can get that glows under a black light. but it would show in your exhaust if you do have a cracked head gasket. I think I saw it at an AutoZone...
