Mag Masters in Santa Ana, CA?
Has anyone heard reviews about the wheel repair shop "Mag Masters" in Santa Ana, CA? I need to get my wheel refinished due to cosmetic (mounting) damage and Mag Masters is significantly closer to me than Tru Wheel in North Hollywood is. I am sure that Tru Wheel would do a perfect job (I hear that they are recommended by Mackin Industries), but it would be less of a hassle to have it done at Mag Masters.
Any reviews (good or bad) that you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Mag Masters did a GREAT job on one of my old wheels (16" 3pc STERN). It was curbed pretty badly by a "friend," but MM repaired/polished the lip as good as new. No one, incl myself could tell where the lip was repaired!
I don't have any experience w/TruWheel, but if they really are "endorsed" by Mackin Industries, they should be pretty competent. Hollywood isn't that far from Santa Ana.
Good luck, and post some BEFORE & AFTER pics of your wheel. I'm sure there are others out there w/curbed/damaged wheels in need of repair.

Tru Wheel and Mag Masters have 2 different means of repairing my wheel. Tru Wheel says that they will use some kind of acrylic substance and then clearcoat it. Mag Masters says that they will just straight powdercoat it. Does anyone know which finish is closest to the Volk factory finish?
