88' Accord
I am getting a 1988 Accord tomorrow. I am getting it so cheap I couldn't turn it down for a daily commuter. My question is what are minor things I can do to boost my performance. Any input would be helpful. Other info LxI and it is 5 speed.
Check for brownish stains around the injectors. They tend to leak sometimes. You can swap a B16/B18 in there but if you're looking for something simple, go for the intake/header/exhaust route...
Also try http://3geez.com . This is a site dedicated to 3rd gen Accords.
Also congrats on your purchase. 3rd gen Accords are awesome cars and so very reliable. That's why I own 2.

Don't let me put any ideas your head, but I'm swapping an H22A into mine. The LXi will last you quite a while though.
I would advice upgrading the brakes. The LXi isn't too bad, but I'm looking to squeeze ITR rotors onto my ride next.
How many miles does she have?
