Default which valves are best??

Instead of going CTR pistons, rings, rods, I'm going to go the port/polish and milling route..I was convinced this was the better way to go, and it will be much cheaper..When I do the pistons, I want to change everything out..Don't have 2500 for that now...As far as head work, what are good valves for me to get?..I have the Skunk2 valve train, except for the valves..I'm looking at Crower for 280.00..Other recommendatinos??? Good place to get them??

Thanks

really wont matter for NA if you have ferrea. id go ITR. they're at least lighter. ferrea are heavier and will be easier to bend if you overrev.

I say ITR valves. Did you know they all weight the same, and when they don't honda throws them out. That's quality controll.

2nd choice: Skunk2 hi compression not oversized.

PS i'd get rid of those skunk2 reatiners, they're not going to make it past 45,000 miles, and make sure you do your valve adjustments often. Oh and milling your head is going to change your timing marks on your crank pull and cam gears. watch out.

ITR intake,
ALL B series VTEC share exhaust valves.
buy ITR LMAs/toda valvesprings instead and save them when you grow your cams.

I second the thing about the Sk2 retainer. Not practical for street driven car IMO. Run stock retainers with properly lashed valves, stay under 12mm on the cams at the valve with the right springs and ITR LMAs and you will be fine to 8800rpm sustained. MD from TI posted a long bit of info about stainless steel valves. They beat the crap out of the valveseat. Not worth the trouble. Stay stock. Run ITRs.
