ummmm.. maybe - gotta find the funds y0 - Andy, you can crash here if you wish. You just can't drive the Hatch, you gotta bring the RRRRR that everybody thinks you don't really own
Sebring event on May 11th has all its novice slots sold out. I think that's the only class that has instructors, so I'm not sure if it'd work out.
Roebling on May31st still has spots w/ instructors.

August? In the hot summer heat?
Wouldn't hot temperature affect the car's performance greatly? (not to mention the drivers). Brakes, engine, suspension, tires would all take serious toll due to the hot summer weather, no?

Yes it will be harder on the car but thats just one more thing to be aware of while you're out driving on track and checking the car in between sessions.

If you guys do sebring I might roll with you, may 11th is my bday though so I might be intoxicated instead..
Chin puts on a good, open (ie no sessions minus one novice one) event that's extremely safe. I need to convince D to go so I can pay to co drive and get back on sebring long course again.. me love that course.
As for the heat, it's not bad. I've run 30-40 minutes straight on sebring without any overheating/high oil temp/etc issues. Short course is evil on the brakes, long course aint so bad.

i am doing the event in May w/ ChinMotorsports. I will be attending (not driving) the Roebling event at the end of May. I have never seen the track. I have a buddy who goes to Georgia Southern University (near Savannah) whom i will stay with to save on costs.
You should do that event. I hear that track is great

It's ok to be rolled by a crased up car.
jfwy.
It would be cool to run it, since 5/11 is the last date for Sebring (12 hr course) by Chin this year.

damn that kinda sucks. Chin events are nice, and sebring is an AWESOME course. It lacks nice elevation changes (it is in Florida after all) but still.
