That's strange... Did you buy them specifically for the Z6? I know that the Z6, and the Y8 head have different length head bolts - so it would make sense that one is shorter than the others; however, there should be other studs of variying lengths as well.

In other words, try to place the studs in different locations, until you find the right order... Good luck!

All mine are all the same length. When I first got my head studs only one of the washers that came with the studs actually fit over the studs. They gave me 9 washers for a different motor. It was a huge bitch to get replacements too. They wanted me to send the studs and the washers back it to the shop I got them from. I said screw it and just bought some other washers. Then when I pulled the motor I finally got the right washers. I called ARP 4 times and got 4 different answers. Finally I got a hold of someone there who wasn't an *******, and he sent me the right ones, finally. Try and talk to the guys in the sales department and NOT the warranty department.

It appears to me from your photo that the 4th stud from the left (2nd from the right) on the front of the motor is longer than the rest. Swap your short stud with the one that appears too long, and maybe they'll be right?

It has to be the right kit, he got them from me. lol

I bought them for my D16Z6 from summitracing, but that was before i found out that i had to have special studs for my Y8 block, so i re ordered another set, and sold these to hime for $30,

On the studs, does the short threaded end go into the block?
Thanks in advance.
