Default just a bodykit painted or the whole car???

just out of curiousity, when you guys get body kits or whatever do you just get the pieces painted or your entire car?

i was going to go ahead and get the JDM Front End however i don't think i have enough money to get my entire car painted...at the same time my paint job is in good condition yet its 14 years old so i think it would be hard to just get the new pieces painted to match my car....

and i absolutely hate cars with different color body kits. etc. waiting to get painted so thats not an option.

have your paint colour matched, as opposed to using the paint code. if done properly you should not be able to tell some paint is new and some is 14 years old.

The problem with this is if your other paint has faded. Which 9 out of 10 are. It won't look too good.

just out of curiosity what car do you have? depending on your cars paint condition, is what it should determine if you get the whole car painted or not.

you should get a quote from the shop, the price difference should help you decide. but if you do just get the bumpers painted, have it color matched. since you're down in cali, i dont think your paint would be as bad of a shape as my car is up here in chicago with all the snow and damn salt on the road

*edit* i had my kit painted

A good buff job on you old paint will make it look brand new.
If you go to a good body shop they can almost all the time get them to match.
