Default why buy a zdyne ecu vs. hyperducktuning mugen prog

well i have determined why my car is slow and its o2 related,

well that gives me 3 options, modify my header, get a zdyne or go with the hyperduck.

1. i cant modify my header, i dont have the clearance needed for the o2;s to be welded in the original spot.

2. zdyne is 300 bucks, and they wont return my phone calls

3. mugen chip + ebay pr3 ecu = 250 ish and then i could sell my ecu for about 150.

the mugen chip sounds exactly like the zdyne almost, 5000 rpm engagement, and only adding a wire for the vtec. and its alot cheaper.

give me some input here.

why dont you just use a 3 wire o2 sensor so it stays hot all the time and doesnt cool down like a **** and screwes the ecu?

or blow 900 bux

im referring to the zdyne 1 wire,

the 3 wire wont work,

each o2 sensor reads a cylinder pair, so if u only have on sensor, it cant very well read both cylinder pairs and send the proper signal, thus making you run lean in 2 cylinders and rich in the other 2.

i gotta go with the zdyne 1 wire or the mugen from hyperduck.

jdm itr 4-2-1 97 spec w/ 2 1/2 inch collector.

he cant weld the o2 sensors in the factory spot because it wont clear the engine, or radiator. he said he could put it in the downpipe, but even then i would have clearance issues, and he doesnt the think the downpipe will hold the weld

hummmm, that kinda sucks! I wanna say just try it on the down pipe but if clearence is still an issue than it's probably not worth doin! I am goin with the dc jdm 4-1 header, i talked to some people who haven't had any problems with that setup, but your header is a different story! Sorry i wish i could help ya out!
