Are NGK BKR6ES-11 ok for I/H/E?
I just bought some ngk coppers (NGK BKR6ES-11) and was wondering if they are ok to use on my '99 GSR (I/H/E)? I just found out that these are one step colder than the BKR6E. Should I return these or just run em??
Thanks guys
Thanks guys
Run stock plugs y0, you arent gonna chase down any real power
changing up plugs
1.1mm gap is OEM for ITR. Different head, different piston dome.
Higher compression, more RPMS.
1.3 is OEM gap for GSR find a 6,13 NGK plug and let it be until they need
changing, repeat

I always run BKR6E-11 copper plugs and gap them to the proper setting for my GS-R (is there a -13?). They only cost $8/set, and are good for 10K-15K miles. Even with the short life, they are still cheaper than platinum plugs in the long run, and only take 5 minutes to change.
Just wondering what the diff. is between the BKR6E S and the BKR6E. I just need to change up my plugs cuz i just hit 60k. Thanks for the replies tho.
I got a chart from NGK's website... That's the firing end construction. An 'S' means a standard 2.5mm center electrode. But the chart doesn't say what you get if there's no letter in place of the 'S'.
