What are some good, decently priced brake pads?
Should I use my current pads on (my current warped rotors) on new rotors? Im looking for some decent quality brake pads to use with my new brembo slotted rotors, what are good, good life, and excellent stopping power that are a decent price.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Like Carlex, I've use the Hawk HPS before and like them. Currently, I'm using AEM pads on both my GS-R and TYpe R. I really like them so far. No squeel and minimal brake dust. The pads are made by OE Japanese brake manufacturer Nissin

Generally you dont want to do new pads on new rotors, but you can if you have to. I did on my GS-R and you just need to be more careful bedding the pads in properly.

I've been told by multiple authorities that you DO want to replace your pads when you get new rotors, that its not good to continue to use your old pads.
I'm about to purchase Porterfield Racing R4-S pads for my car. I'm not sure what you consider reasonably priced, but these are $85 for the fronts, $59 for the rears. I've heard only good stuff for these.

Axxis is one brand I avoid. I have a friend that warped 3 sets of rotors (Lug buts torqued to 80ft-lbs) with Axxis and has yet to have it happen with Hawks. I have heard good stuff about porterfields and Carbotech as well.
