Hi guys,

I need to replace my tires, and figured this is a perfect opportunity to move up to 15" rims. I don't want to spend a bunch of money on aftermarket rims just so some fool with a tire iron can steal them.

I'm thinking about going to the salvage yard and yoinking the rims off of another Honda.

What vehicles have 15" rims with the right bolt pattern for my '91 Si hatch?

 

you can get some off all integras,civics and even some fords.

 

are you sure even ford rims will fit ? at my work we have tons of 4 door focus that have nice looking rims ...will they fit ? even the hub part ?

 

really any 4x100 lug pattern will work

 

lots of old volkswagens have 4x100 patterns, but some wont fit cause the centers are too small to clear the honda centers......this is what a mechanic told me, and he works primarily on old hondas and volkswagens. i think a set of the focus wheels that kinda look like 99-00 si wheels would look sweet.

 

Other way around, VWs have larger hubs than Hondas. You will be able to use any 15" vw wheel, but it wont be hubcentric like using a honda wheel will.

unfortunely, focus was a different lug pattern last time i checked. My friend got a 2k1 zx3 and i though the same thing

Correct, my friend tried to put my CRX Si rims on his car just for ***** n giggles but the center hole was too small

 

i use to run vw golf BBS rims.they were 15x7 and fit perfect.

 

86-present Civic wheels will all fit.
86-01 Integra rims will fit &lt;everything buy the 5 lug R wheels&gt;
88-91 Accord &lt;newer is 4x114&gt;
88-91 Prelude &lt;Newer is 4x114, or 5 lug&gt;
Mazda MX3 wheels will fit
Miata wheels that are 4 lug will fit with a TINY bit of work on the hub area to clear the civic's larger hub centers.
90-98 Sentra wheels will fit
Older Ford Escort wheels will fit... up to mid 90's years.
Lots of 90's model VW wheels will fit.

Please don't put any POS Ford rims on your Civic!

 

honda also sells factory rims at the dealerships. I dunno how much they are but you might want to look into it.
I have (95)GSR's they are in abundance so they generally go cheap.
look in the classified section for GSR's. sometimes ppl sell em in there.

 

look for 88 integra LS rims.. they goes nice wiht an EF...

in terms of weight or function, are any better than the others? I'm going to bring this list to the junk yard tomorrow and see what I can come up with ...

the accord 88-91 rims will NOT work. from 90 on the 4 lugs were always 4x114.3, i think what you meant was 86-89 accords

 

if you want lightness, get i believe 96-00 Civic hx wheels. they are liight as hell and i think they look pretty sweet also, i believe each wheel only weigh's 11 lbs!!!

 

Miata rims are also very light for their size.

yea, and 14 inch rims not 15.

 

most of the rims in this thread are 13 or 14". Which ones are 15"? I'm not having much luck locating any around here ...

 

how about miata rims, the one that looks like panasport.

 

be a OG and get the new SER wheels .. the old ones will fit and they look nice too.. alot off ppl used to sport ser wheels but i dont see that many nowadays~
