Default bondo the side trim holes

EW, so i went and got an estimate to get the trim holes welded and he gave me a price of $75 the first hole, and since they are all in a line hell drop the price as he goes. THat would be about $400-600 to get the holes welded. I just called another shop and they only BONDO the holes. Whats the long term effects of bondo? I know welding is much better and will last probably forever, but bondo? Ive only heard bad things about it, but maybe someone could enlighten me. Thank you.

do you open and close the doors? After x amounts of that, cracks will start to appear from shock and vibrations.

You could always just go Dukes of Hazzard style.... but I'd go with welding them.
