Correct me if i'm wrong, but, IF they were indeed stolen, and you were purchasing them with the understanding that they were stolen, you could be convicted as well.
I don't hold judgement against anyone. If the seats were indeed purchased from someone who had recently purchased a new s2000, then I think there is no problem. Good luck with the sale, but you may want to post in the classified section if you want more response.

agreed.
keep in mind, I had my stock seats stolen out of my S2000. I not only located them, but repurchased my stolen seats. Keep in mind, this was years ago and there were no other seats floating around and the car was still in high demand if you wanted to wait several months to get it.
cough up some evidence, or I'll find you, hunt you down and have the authorities waiting at your door step.
and if you plan on buying seats, stolen or not - well, if they do turn out stolen and you cough up the dough for them, well.. you will either be convicted, or you will give up the merchandise and have no dollars to show for it. yes... this does happen.

hey volpe.... your springs are FINALLY going on my car (well, next weekend). shocks, tires, front lip, and camber kit will be here this week, and HOPEFULLY this H-T guy that i bought some rims from will come through and ship my rims. (Been waiting since the beginning of April, so I'm getting edgy).
Take your camera and get some pictures of the s2k seats. Put this topic to rest

oh man. I'm sorry to hear that. Fortunately, the car is back to normal (I'm assuming).

...Brides or Recaros...
actually, the stockers are Recaros, like most OEM seats out there. The OEM seats have horrible support and you just slide around in them on the track. I have Sparcos in mine and they are much better than the OEM's but we all have our priorities. yours seems to lie in JDM-bling-bling rather than function.

i've good things about all 3..recaro, bride, and sparco. actually a friend has a mugen seat and i sat in that over the weekend for the first time and that was nice as well.
i thinks seats are like shoes... certain people fit different seats better...and the best thing to do is sit in the seat first, then purchase them. don't buy them because they're "JDM"..buy them because they fit your driving needs, and are comfortable. Sometimes this whole JDM thing blows my mind.
Anyway, what ever did happen to this guy and his "new" seats?
