I saw the pics at the track and they were very good. definitely contact him if you want an Expo # pic of yourself worth framing!!

 

I really wanted to buy a picture but found out he only took the first session on Sunday. I missed that session to make sure that my brakes were functioning properly and were ready to rock and roll.

Not true...give him a call....he was out a couple of times because he forgot the INT2 group the on the first go round...so he took more later! Give him a call to make sure!

 

Doh! Going to shoot him an e-mail tonight. I totally didn't check the other proof sheets since I was just checking the 1st session of Int 1.

Cool! I didn't realize we had a professional photographer there! I have my picture from last years expo proudly hanging on my office wall. Hopefully this one can go right along side of it.

 

I can vouch for Fred's photographic abilities... I brought three of his shots back with me from the Expo. He had several shots of us going through turn 6 with the suspension under load... way cool!

I heard back yesterday from Mr. Voit and he asked that when you email him, please identify the color of your car and the numbers it had on it. In addition, if you could tell him which set of pictures you were in(1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th) that would speed things up. I know at least the first 3 sets correspond to the order of the run groups on Sunday and assume the 4th and 5th sets do as well.

I assume he'll find our car in the proofs and email you a copy, and you can order a print from him or something. Still waiting to hear how that works exactly.

Fred took some of those pictures as well. I will be buying some group photos from him. WalkmanX and Blake Fuller got good pics too.

 

I would prefer to get a pic of my car on the track, but since I was knocked out for the morning session on Sunday, I don't have any pics. And, I'm sick of looking at my banged up car pics.

I bought Two 8x10's of my car, which were the best two IMO.

But, if I can obtain the rest of my pics for the computer, I would be very happy.

Good question... I would imagine he'd charge more for the image rights. But you could use them as wallpaper or take them to a photoshop for printing at anytime. He seemed to have tons of shots of ech car.

 

I don't actually want the image rights, just for personal use, as in looking at them on my computer or putting on WTDR or imagestation.

I might have just contradicted myself. I'm not sure if placing his photos somewhere that is considered 'hosting' the pictures would be considered me 'breaking' the rules of him owning the image rights.

 

Yeah... not sure. I'm gonna send Fred an email and see what he has to say. It would be nice to have the images for photochopping, makin' cool wallpaper, etc

 

he sent me the images but they are marked with "proof" on them.

 

He sent me my images too, although the quality was less. Not sure guys...call him or e-mail him with your questions...after all this is his business, so I'm sure he'll be obliged.

BTW - Clarification on 1st 2nd 3rd etc. That would be Instructors (1st), INT 2 (2nd) and so on. It follows the order of Sundays groups. Also make sure to e-mail him if you want some (even if you are unsure if he got you or not). The reason is because he had to make a couple of trips out (since there were so many cars that look alike ).

Cool so he may have photos of me after all. I went to see them at the event and he could not find them at the time. Thanks for the info
