Hi, I read somewhere that you dont have to alter your USDM bumper support if you get the mugen jdm conversion, is this true??? Will I also need the jdm rebar or can I just my stock reinforcement bar? any info will help, thanks.

 

i believe that by bumper support you may be really referring to the radiator support? wel in any case, the radiator support has to be changed in order to fit the headlamps in properly and so that the hood latch will match up as well.

As for the usdm 5mph bumper(that big chunk of steel that runs in front) i heard that it will fit behind the mugen bumper, but can't be sure.. i'm not speakin from experience on that one.

 

Hey man, thanks for the update. So you just used the JDM radiator support and thats it? Did u reuse your oem rebar and bumper support? Do u have a picture of what your frame looks like. thanks.

 

not sure about the mugen bumper but the CWEST bumper fits for sure

yep, my friend did it. but u still have to use the JDM radiator support
