What are some options for more stopping power?
Since I put my B17 in I've noticed a reduction in braking power due to the extra weight. I'm wondering if there are any aftermarket rotors/pads that are a good upgrade that will fit under the stock 14" rims. It doesn't have to be too extreme of an upgrade, this isn't a track car but a daily driver. I know kits are available to use with larger rims, but I just put a new set of tires on and I don't want to dump that investment right now.
I've got PowerSlot rotors up front with the EBC Green Stuff pads. I noticed a pretty good increase in stopping power, considering their still the stock STD size. I've also still got drums in the back, but if your are as bad as mine were, couldn't hurt to change them. New shoes and drums in the rear made the biggest difference for me.
You can get both of these for decent prices from The Tire Rack..And any part store should have the rears..

I would stay away from EBC's.. they are not that great...
some I got some carbomets at the local race shop, about $50 for the fronts and have been very happy with them..

Bosch Pads all the way! they bite the rotors much better than a stock pad, stopping distance is reduced a ton, zero dust on the rims and last a long time.... works for me
