i taped the lip off with masking tape ...very precisely ......then sanded the spokes ....which took about an hour per wheel .....

prepped ....masked the inside of the wheel .....

i used Dupont Auto SPray from Auto Zone ...Charcoal Grey ....after i painted them ..i swore they looked black....but now they look very much GunMetal ...

i used no Clearcoat , cause i wanted the flat look ....i've been driving on them now , for a few weeks ...in city streets ...and downtown dallas pot holes ....not chip ....the paint is hold strong ....

i even sprayed them down at the car wash with a pressure washer ....not flaking...

i'm very pleased

The Sterns do noT weight 12 pounds.

They weigh 13.4 pounds.

They are listed on the link below as the Hinodex Aguzze S-07.

No one sells them new any longer. The company that makes them has long since stop producing them.

http://www.machiii.net had them until about a month ago, but all that they had left has been sold!

Only way to buy them is to get a used set.

On a good note.... if there are enough interested (i.e., willing to front money), it is possible that a run of 15x7 rotas MAY be produced in 5x114.3. That's good for us budget-minded people who want a 15x7.
