Parts list for skunk2 intake manifold in a B16
I just ordered a skunk 2 intake manifold for my B16. Do i need to purchase new parts like the throttle cable holder or gaskets? What suggestions would you all make for a new throttle body for brand and size? My mods are in my Sig.
Thanks

I'm not sure if it's the same for your application, but for my b16 2000 civic si. I added the skunk2 manifold and hondata gasket and had to replace the throttle cable and throttle cable bracket with a type-R cable and bracket. I also had to replace the studs on the intake manifold because of the added thickness of the hondata gasket otherwise if you are using a stock gasket you will be ok with the stock studs.
P.S. - I also modified the stock (B16) throttle cable bracket to work on the skunk2 manifold with the stock throttle cable, but i think the angle was off, so just do yourself a favor and get the cable and bracket

I replaced my manifold with a skunk manifold and the only replacement parts I bought were a hondata gasket and TB gasket and also replaced the studs (like the post above said). As far a the throttle cable holder, I didn't change it. I just did a little bending to make it work perfectly and I also adjusted my throttle cable from a 90-93 integra to work prefectly also. It opens completely and closes completely without any problems.
Rebump... I want more info on a Skunk2 intake manifold install on a 1st gen B16A. In the past I thought I remember reading that you need a different fuel rail/fuel pressure regulator, intake air temp sensor, and that the throttle cable/bracket were optional if you modified?
I installed my skunk2 manifold 2 days ago. Here is what i bought and reused:
Intake manifold gasket : New from Honda
IAT sensor : Reused from stock
PCV valve and hoses: New Hose from Honda and PCV valve from Advance auto parts.
TB gasket : honda
throttle cable bracket: reused stock bent a little to clear IAT sensor.
I aslo reused the Injector bosses, i bought some for the 99 civic Si but i forgot the injector were different. Not sure about the stock fuel rail. I dropped in an AEM fuel rail and FPR.

See that's the thing...the AEM relocates the FPR out of the way... I think there is clearance issues with the stock unit. But this is all old news and I can't remember what is true and what is false?

So what I have learned is that if you go with a Skunk2 manifold, the only parts needed are the ITR throttle bracket, ITR fuel rail/or aftermarket, FPR...for the new fuel rail, ITR fuel injector gromets, and if you go with an ITR intake manifold you need to get a 92+ Idle air control valve...IACV. So what about the FITV...Fast idle thermal valve?
From what I have read in the past, you only need the iacv when doing the type r manifold, skunk 2 lets you bolt over your b16a one. Ryan
