I am looking for single cam turbo track times and setups. I am still trying to figure out my new project so, I need ideas.

 

darth boost herre has a 5G SOHC VTEC with turbo @ 7 psi....
its a quick ****.....
i dont know about 1/4 times but i know hes into mid/high 14's

 

that's not very fast for sohc turbo...
should get you into low 14's maybe high 13's.
I run 14.8 with i/h/e on d16y8 so a turbo should take off almost a second.

 

i had a 91 dx with a d16z and a ghetto turbo it ran pretty good to be on bs dtreet tires and a stock 110k mile clutch...13.6@106

Here is my home-made turbo set-up, and here's what I collected so far:
Garret t25 turbo
STD ex manifold
2nd gen eclipse BOV free( looking for a 1st gen BOV though)
custom adapter plate
t25 dp flange
SMC+ fuel management
1st gen eclipse SMIC
autometer a/f and boost gauge

Still looking
450cc DSM injectors
Charge pipings
Return/feed lines+fittings

Only three more and I'm all set!

 

I had a 1991 Civic EX sedan with auto trans and a GReddy kit.

It ran 14.39 at LACR consistently, but I had to screw with it to get those times.

I would say go with a DRAG kit. My friend had a '90 CRX Si and with the DRAG kit at 9 PSI it was making 190 @ the wheel. Never took it to the strip so can't give you an ET though.

 

or you could get a b16 with a turbo and run 12's

 

or you can spend less money and run 13s

 

Go to your nearest Dodge Chrysler or Mits dealership and order oil return line for a stock turbo car. Thats what we did. The one I have is flexible also.
