yep, that is my topic. my ride is a 93 cx, it is white, but the engine bay is pretty dirty and stuff. What do you guys recommend me do to it, paint it white again, or black.
How much is that specific job going to cost me, and also, what have a few of you done to get rid of rust around the rear wheel wells 'they are tiny spots but i hate them'.
Help me please and i'll post some pics today, so you guys see what i am talking about.
Thanks.
Later.

The yellow stuff on your shock towers, is that rust or grime? If it's grime, you can make that engine bay look new again. Just need to put some work into it. Engine brite would do the trick. You can pick it up at any auto parts store. Just have to spray it on, let is sit, and the start scrubbing.
Just clean your engine bay or pay a shop to do it. I don't think you need to paint, but what is that red stuff near the battery?

the red stuff is from the previous owner painting the battery little connector thingy, i guess to protect from corrosion.

Right on, you can clean it man, just buy a couple of cans of Engine Brite, cover the distributor and fuse box with plastic, and get to spraying. Let it sit for about 10 minutes, then start scrubbing (probably want to wear gloves). You can clean the entire bay, and the motor, after you scrub it out, spray it down, then do it again, it'll work.

Yep. Give it a good cleaning and it will last you.
You might want to consider a polish or wax since it is painted to keep maintain the coat.
The previous owners of my car never looked under the bonnet. Today, it looks as good as it did off the assembly line.

Yeah try getting all the grime off with a good engine bay cleaner (possibly Simple Green) but nothing to strong to eat off the paint. I repainted my whole engine bay and its a lot of work removing all the lines and harnesses, but it was pretty necessary for my full color change. I used some Engine/Engine Bay cleaner in a purple bottle and it straight up pulled the weak paint from the engine bay right off, so becareful what you get.
