Anyone run an OMP front strut tower bar on their CRX
I'm looking at a functional front tower bar for my CRX, time to replace the Taiwanese generic one I have had on there for so long. Functionality is key here since I autocross the car a lot.
I was leaning towards the Neuspeed bar, simply because it is one solid piece (no extra clamps/bolts on the mounting hardware). I didn't realise that OMP made one for the CRX, I believe it runs along the firewall.
Suggestions??

I'm going to suggest that "strut" tower bars really don't do that much on a double-wishbone suspension'd Honda. So no, it's probably not worth the effort/money to swap it.
2nd gen CRX? Save the cash and don't run one would be my suggestion. We took mine off back in October and have run prolly 8 races or so since and I honestly couldn't possibly tell you the difference. But do keep your current one in the garage/basement, it worked awesome to hold up my motor when I removed the transmission.
I have that bar on my 88 Civic (probably the same bar) and I didn't really notice a difference to be honest. There is a short threaded section to change the length of the bar which seems quite wimpy and probably negates any effect the bar could have had (chain only as strong as it's weakest link, bar only as strong as it's wimpiest section).
I agree. Actually, the rear bar seemed to have made much more of a difference in my CRX, with the front bar soley for bling-bling factor.
