I was just wondering if anyone has dyno'd the difference between a Cat-back muffler system and a Axle-back? Example: The Mugen twin loop
They sell Axle-back and Cat-back, what is the real difference that the wheels? How much does that Cat to Axle pipe make? Just wondering! Hope my question is clear

 

The difference is you change the B-pipe and middle resonator. The JDM Mugen B-pipe and resonator are bigger bore and less restrictive.

 

Yeah, Anyone know the difference? Doesn't matter the make. Cat-back is better, how much?

Last I checked, the Mugen twin loop for the ITR is only cat-back, while the Civic is only the axle-back. The Mugen twin loop will not bolt up to a stock itr b-pipe...way too large.

 

I was planning on going Cat-back, but saw a couple of places selling the Axle back and wanted to see what that was about. Thanks for the help guys.
