I dont know much about the type r motor but my friend has a 97 jdm type r motor. he wants to upgrade the cam shafts in his car. he already bought some aem cam sprockets. he plans on getting skunk2 stage 2 cam shafts. Is it better for him to upgrade the valve springs and retainers when he changes out the cam shafts also? will the aem cam sprockets work well with the skunk2 cam shafts? help me out if you can guys. thanks.
