What do you people think of Alpine Inside Speakers with a digital 400.4 Alpine Amp? I have an Alpine head unit and my Audiobahn 12" subs with a 1000 watt Hifonics Zues Amp.

 

Check out Infinity speakers. They'll sound just as good and probably be cheaper. Check them out at Circuit City, or Best Buy. If the Kappa series is too expensive, then check out the Refrence series. They both sound good.

 

What is the model # of the Alpine amp, and how much is it?

That amp should work fine. It will do about 55w to each speaker. If you add another amp to your system, you'll probably have to get a bigger power wire. Switch from 4awg to 2awg.

i 2nd that.... you can get the last of the current model infinity speakers for freakin cheap! The Infinity 652I's are down to $50, and use to run $100! Get them while you can! If they are out and only have the new model (600I or whatever), then check them and alpine's new Type S's out.
