i wanna know what u guys run in the 1/4 mile with b16a in a 95 civic cx..i got this set up and never went to track and wanna know what other have ran. i got a short ram and dc 4-1 headers. with 2 1/4 in. pipng and a stock exuast. eveything else is stock...also this coming june i wanna do a full skunk2 set up on my head(stage 1 cams, valve spring, retainers and valves.) what shoul i expect to run with that setup. oh ya and skunk2 camgears and intake manifold. id appreciate the info guys thanks.

 

b16 w/ some bolt ons in a hatch will probably net you mid to high 14s.

 

i dont get why people always ask how fast will i be. with that setup you can be high 17's all the way down to high 13's, and it can be lower or higher depends on what you do.

but its about the driver, you can have a bad r.t. etc.... So you should go out to the track and see for youself what YOU can get in YOUR car.

 

i stated what have others ran with pretty much stock set up. basic bolt ons as well i/h/e. others as my self havent got a chance to go to the track and i plan on going in june. so if there are people that are kind enough to reply what they ran and there set up id apprciate it. others who wanna jsut start crap . welll go head i dont care.

 

if you are a half *** decent driver, look toward mid 14's......you will be happier with your results if you just did an archived search under "1/4 mile civic"

 

search user name nsxmatt, he just ran the 1/8 mile in his b16 powered VX and posted the results.

 

i just went to the track 2 weeks ago.. got 1 run in before they saw i didnt have a helmet yet they were letting others run too.. so i got a baseline in where i wasnt super trying just getting a base time.. so this is what i got..

15.4 (1/4mile) .936 (reaction time) 2.4 (60ft) and i think it was 82mph

i know i could have gotten that down to 15.1 at the best.. and im pretty damn heavy with all my itr suspension and swaybars (im made to handle right now)
so with a stock cx you can pretty much be around 14.8-9

and btw my b16a2 is completely stock, and im using a PR3 ecu, vtec @ 6k
