I crumple mine up into a fist sized ball, leaves a nice gloss.

It's more of a domestic guy or model builder kind of thing. But the ink and the way the newspaper soaks up water leaves glass a nice gloss.

Twice a month I use a clean cloth and rubbing alcohol. Beautiful and sterile.

It does work well....it is more of a poor ppl kinda thing.....back in the days that is what everyone used to clean the windows of the house/car/whatever. Used in combo w/ any window cleaner does wonders...try it.

Windex sucks, it ALWAYS leaves a residue when I use it. I only use it along w/ a bug sponge to clean my windshield after a road trip. I immediately follow with Stoner Invisible Glass (in a spray can) and newspaper. That stuff works awesome, it doesn't contain actual soaps so it won't leave any streaks or marks, and it's tint safe. Best window cleaner I've EVER used.

I use the Windex foaming glass cleaner and some shop towels. works awesome. All obtainable at your nearest auto parts store

I used the foaming industrial cleaner by waxie...came out damn nice...

I also tried Meguairs quickdetailer, that worked well also.

I have found that the more flat area of the newspaper you press down, rather than crumple it up, makes it look more streak-free.
