Default d16z6 into a 88 hatch??

i recently bought a 88 civic hatch for 500 bucks and the clutch is out and the starter is all fucked up and im thinkin of doin a swap right away but if i do it i wanna go to a d16z6 is that a good idea to go do or should i save up more and get a b16a? whats more worth it and if i do a d16z6 what does it run *1/5 mile time*(for the ones who have done this alreddy )

Wtf? 1/5 mile time? You mean 1/4 mile time? Well, that varies, on the engine and the driver. My 89 CRX did 15.2 in the quarter, but some are in the mid to high 15's. Depends on tranny too. Use an Si tranny or it will lick ***** at acceleration. If i were you I'd just put in a B16A.
