Default Naturally aspirated engines...

So I've had me 2001 Integra type R for 6 months now and I'm onto my 3rd phase of mods (intake). I'm looking at 2 different setups...
Short Ram intake with modified Carbon fiber hood or AEM cold air intake. My questions are 1) Which will give me the a higher increase in performance and 2) which will be easiest to later modify to include a supercharger? In this Phase 3 I'm also going to get a Venom Intake Manifold and a larger daimeter throttlebody. Any input would be much appreciated.

that jackson is gonna scratch ur venom manifold..

short ram is for JRSC but u know about that cold air thing...its always better...if u can make ur short ram feed cold air and protect the piping from gettin too hot then thats even better...

best overall , i like AEm cold air, im also hearing that the comptech ice box is pretty nice too...if i were to get a cleaner look i'd get the ice box...why say NA if u going supercharger dude? think one route and stick with it...then u'll save lots of $$$

why are you saying NA in your title if you are going FI???? Why waste time with the venom?? the itr mani is the best out there!! why do you think skunk2 copied it??? the biggest tb you can put on your stock mani is about 65mm i believe, then you have to port match it. if you ask me it's a waste of a kick *** vtec motor to put any FI on it. but i guess that's what people do nowadays.... kids... when will they learn???

Get the AEM. While the ICEBOX is nice, the AEM wins out in top end performance. If you ever get cams, I have found that the AEM makes more power than the short ram. I have spec Cs and there is a 4-6 hp difference in the two intakes with the Spec C cams.
As for the intake, keep the ITR one. The STR/Venom and so on have not shown any real gains.
If you do a throttle body, you can get a Spoon unit, that is 70 MM tappered to the stock 62 MM at the plate. Nice results thus far. Not sure how that would work with increasing the plate daiameter. Such as a BBK/Holley 68MM that is tappered from 70MM. Hmmm, maybe I need to try that.
