n00b land question:
when im buying a used muffler.. what should i look for? obviously i would look for dents scratches and rust.. but what else should i be looking for?? my frend sed to shake it a bit and if insulation or whatever junk in there falls out.. its no good.. is he right?

what kind of muffler is it, and why would you want to buy a used one? if you shake it, and it rattles, the fiberglass, has burned up, and will be louder than when it was new. basically, don't buy it if you hear anything when shaking it.

apexi rs/ws.. and yea.. im gettin it used b/c funds are low and im gettin a really good deal on it..
but yea.. ok.. if **** falls out or if i hear shaking.. its bad.. gotcha
