thanks. its a high temp paint. i dont think the intake manifold will really get that hot....and if it does and the paint doesnt hold like its suppose to.....atleast it looked for for a little bit haha. ill get it powder coated if i decide to keep the car, which if it smokes when i put the new head gasket on i m throwing a sledge through the windshield and sending it to the junkyard

I recently re-did mine as well. Went with the stock look though with some flat aluminum high temp paint.

 

when i get bored i watch tv.

high temp gunmetal. im just hoping it holds up like it should and that it will match my intake.....UPS should be here today so i will know soon enough :-)

i think yours will look better overall because i didnt want to mess with painting my throttle body so it will be stock silver color and so will the fuel rail. the 4th gen fuel rails are wierd looking and i cant get the damn fuel line off the end of it so for now it will stay silver as well unless i get bored again sometime and want to try painting it lol

 

Yeah, I just lightly sanded my fuel rail with 2000 grit, then used some Mother's aluminum polish to bring out the natural shine.

 

 

i might do the same thing.....unless i can get the fuel line off then i will do it gunmetal as well.

black chrome finish...looks gunmetalish in person

slightly darker than the manifold lol. not it has me thinking about painting the fuel rail metallic black so it kinda matches the intake....not sure yet...will know by this weekend when i have to put everything back
