pullyes and flywheel DONT and NEVER will give you more HP... the car could/would go faster but with the same hp as before...

that ideé of lighted stuff that turns is 2 let the engine or wheel go easy up in speed cause of less rotation mass... ¨

hp on the crank will never change cause of this !..

WHP is wouthless for compering.. and is not even what you have on the road.. since you have air and stuff trying 2 stop you !...

thats how it is.. and all ways will be...

they free up crank hp that otherwise would NOT be going to your wheels...

The less drag on the crank via accesories the more power it directs to the tranny/wheels.

They probobly do give around 3-10%... on a 100-125 hp civic that's like 4-12 hp... this is crankhp... which is why it's misleading... because once that goes into the tranny it's more like gaining 1-4 hp at the wheels.

they don't increase the CrankHp they free up crank hp... it still give you a gain in performance...

Anyway the reason I would not get them is
A. they underdrive you accesories... if you have a stereo and you underdriving you alt... good luck.
B. They're probobly not balanced to the degree that stockers are and DO NOT have any dampening charactoristics... this especially on b and d series honda blocks is an important thing... they run pretty rough as it is.

I don't have personal experience with pulleys on my car but I'm sure they give you a litte extra power to the wheels. and I'm sure the negatives aren't catastrophic at all.

Good luck.

yeah well know you get it.. right ?

pullyes DONT make more power on the crank OR the wheels !! i have them i know !
the give a better responce .. on the gaspedal

crank HP is the only way 2 se what you have for reel in your engine... and compere..
WHP is 2 easy 2 make em as you wish and alot more plays a role on this matter..

Well I have AEM Tru Power pullies. I also run a 450W amp, with no problems. They did seem to increase performance very slightly, and I've had no problems with them. Just thought I'd post my experience.

It has been my understanding that the AEM pulleys are the way to go. The UR Alt and PS pulleys are supposed to be the same diameter and the crank pulley is significantly smaller. Many people have claimed that the replacement crank pulley will cause problems with the crank because it is not a harmonic balancer. However the CTR pulley is not a balancer and it works just fine. You will hear a lot of various opions on this subject. The AEM pulleys are the way to go. As far as replacing the crank pulley, is that 3 hp really worth breaking your engine?

better responce MEANS that your car is PERFORMING BETTER.. or do you mean the pedal goes to the floor faster ?

As I said if you read my post... IT FREE'S UP HP AT THE CRANK WHICH IS OTHERWISE SUCKED OFF BEFORE IT GOES TO THE WHEELS.

it does not increase the factory crank hp because the factory tests the engine for hp with out it running any accesories...

Well, it doesn't add HP to the engine, it merely takes a small percentage of drivetrain loss or in this case "accessory loss" out.

For example: 125 HP at the crank, 110 HP to the wheels. The difference is drivetrain loss. The drivetrain consists of axles, flywheel, rotors, tranny, etc. Take weight off any of those, and you will free some HP. Underdrive the accessories, and you get the same effect (even though it's small).

For those that choose not to believe go back to physics!
