What model is it? If its an Si than youre swap options are a lot easier. If its an HF then youre looking at more work to do a B series swap. Its not impossible but mores required to swap the car to a fuel injected motor.

Being it is an 84, it is not Fi, making any engine swap with Fi a PITA. You need to upgrade a bunch of stuff just to get a fuel injection system on there.....

Goto http://www.redpepperracing.com

Whats the first year they made a CRX Si? I thought it was '84. Maybe it was '85.

85 was the 1st year...

If your REALLY into going to PGFI you need a snot load of stuff..

More reason able to build a Si engine with dual side drafts, cam, bore, blah blah.

Not to say it hasnt been done... just head to Redpepper and ask away. there are a few guys(incliuding rpr himself) who have done the Fi conversion.. the hardest part is finding the Si fuel lines

Just do a little more research...there is plenty you can do with your 84...

Get a carbureted brown top ZC from an engine importer. I think you will also need an 86 - 87 Integra transaxle for this swap. The B16 or B18 will fit with a mounting kit, but the wiring changes are going to be a major PITA. I'd go with the ZC or an Si engine with sidedraft carbs (or a single downdraft weber if you are on a budget). You could also fit an 86 - 87 Integra engine and transaxle, but again the wiring is going to suck unless you convert to a carburetor.

1st gen or 2nd gen, don't be picky, the first gen is 400 pounds lighter at least....The turnout of a B series or a ZC swap would make that 84 go very fast. 2nd gen's looks better, but the 1st gen is much lighter. Plus how many 1984 crx's that can run 13's has anyone seen? not many. If anyone has one, I would like to know what the mods are for that rocket.

A B16 is worth more than a 84 crx. They are right it would be a lot of work and money. I have spent a **** load of money on my honda and would be lucky to get $1000 over blue book for it. You can do it if you want but get ready to lose money when you try to sell it.

Costly as it is, B16/E-AS is just a scary combo. Kinda like a GSX-R motor on a skateboard

Mine is not THAT scary...I think in order for a turbo E-AS to be scary you need a ZC, not on OEM motor....my car is just quick, not scary.
