Default Earl Scheib Paint Job's are Good From Green to Gunmetel, with Pics + Videos 56k Warn

Ok 1st of All, I changed the Color of my car, because i got keyed, the next door neigbor paided for it, lucky for me, i put some of my own money so i can get a full color change.
The Color is Smoked Grey, Also know as gunmetel.
They got it done in 1 day, which is dam fast, but they only had my car to work on.
I have a full lip kit im putting on tommarow, they painted it today and want it to dry.

The things i noticed about the paint is, at the bottom of the car, where it's dirty the paint ins't real smooth, they painted over the dirt, and they got the tips of a few black things, nothing major, there is a small **** up on the paint, but no drips, my ctr lip will cover the **** up, so no big deal.

Ok now with the pics, my cam is crappy, and if i move when i take the pics, look like the car is bent, It's not.

BEFORE- Coral Green Peral was the stock Family Saden Color
They did around the si grill, and my dx grill cover and didn't get any on the hood

Notice how fucked up the z3 fenders were (dam fiberglass)

Me and my bro's car

AFTER- Gunmetel, Smoked Grey, The Car is darker then the pics show, Like i said my cam sucks, look at it in real life, it's pimp

Car looks bent, just my ghetto cam

Keep my DX on, got to show what i got

Sunlight makes the car look way lighter then it is

This pic show about how dark the color really is
Car looks dam good, it will look better with my ctr kit on it tommarow

Fender is not as bad

One of the mess ups, my cam can't even see it much, that how small it is

Now can people stop trashing talking earl scheib, i think they did a good job, there are a few spots here and there, but nothing major at all, so far it looks dam good.

Here is a Video, of the car, u might need some huge *** codex to get it, but it might work if u have the newest divx codex, it works on my computer

http://quaddamagecivic.tripod....d.avi 9.4MB

http://www.benq.com/cameras/camera_dc1300.html
Go to that page and click on drivers it's 3.4mb to download and the video
IT WILL ONLY WORK IF U GET THE CODEX"S on this Page, or all u will hear is sound.

Well I'm saying it. Booo Z3's fenders, your car would be perfect without those, that color is so nice.

Ive said it before...its not so much the painter its the quality of the paint and the quality of their paint is not good. For decent paint you would have to shell out a few hundred dollars alone. There are so many aspects to a good paint job and I am sorry but painting over dirt?
Can you imagine what they did that you cant see...yet.

But hey your happy and thats what counts. Just try and sell it in the next couple years before the paint goes.

Im going there and i saw some of there cars. Way better than Macco. The paint that macco and scheib use is a cheaper than PPG. PPG is like $300 for just paint. I dont care cause in 4 years when scheib paint fades Ill be finished with school and will paint my car with ppg my self (going to school for clission repair). Scheib is the better of the cheap places at least in my area. I just cant stand drivin in a multi colored car

macco and scheib both uses shitty quality paint worst then medium grade PPG.
at my dad's work they use Dupont, same paint that all car get when they are painted in the asembly line at the plant.
PPG isnt that expansive, when my dad had his shop, they only sold him the gallon for like 80-150 bucks. A gallon is good for like 3-4 cars, a pint is good for a whole car.

My brother got his prelude painted at that exact same Earl Scheib a few months ago. He got the pewter color, Pro2 with some extra stuff using one of thier online coupons. He only paid something like $250. For the cost, it's really not too bad...but I'd personally pay more for a better quality job. His car had started to show some surface rust and he wanted it sealed for his trips to the snow so he didn't really care if it was perfect or not. If you're happy with the job they did, That's what matters.
