I am redoing my headliner with red vinyl...I already have that out of the car....How do I remove the grey part from the sunroof...the part that slides back and forth with the sunroof closed...I am doing this right now so any help asap would be appreciated, thanks!!!

 

You have to take off your moonroof glass. Then there are two screws in the front of the rails that the shade thing slides on. Then u just slide in forward while pushing up.

 

i had the same prob. when i swapped out my tan interior - i couldn't figure it out so i just left it... noone will ever notice b/c i never shut my visor..

 

hmmm. take out my moonroof glass huh...i dont know how to do that...its the piece that u can slide back with ur hand...anyone have a how:t0

 

There are 6 hex screws that hold the moonroof on. Two phillips screws on the rails. Then slide the sunshade forward and up and out of the car.

 

Do I have to take the headliner off to get to them i would guess, cause i already put it back on...

 

You don't have to mess with the headliner to take out that shade or the moonroof.

 

ok with the headliner in place how do i take off the shade?
