How do you sell an R you don't really own yet?

I still owe on my R, how do you arrange everything when you sell the car to an indivudual? like the title.......

I'm guessing you can use the money to pay off the loan, then transfer the title.

you tell the buyer to pay you the amount that you already made in payments, then transfer the payments to that person.
