Is there any advantage to using the JDM shift linkage over the standard USDM? Or is it just for the bling?

The only difference between the jdm and usdm type R shift linkage is the color. jdm is gold and usdm is Black. But there is a difference between Type R and gsr/ls/rs. The shifter is polished and it has shorter throws. The Type R Shifter imho is the best over all aftermarket except C's. I have had Neuspeed,Skunk2,b&m,smc Etc and I think the stock type r is best.

the shift linkage is lighter than others. i have one, and i thought it was lighter than my buddy's stock gsr. i don't know by how much. 150 is a great price... bump for that jdm hotness .........
