88-89 integra D16A1 pistons
shot peen/polish rods. lighten flywheel, shave the pulley, work on the head (clean the ports, metal head gasket.
and oh yeah
do a search here, LOTS of info floating around

ive got quite a few mods on my d16a6. one of them being a crane cam stage 2 with skunk2 cam gear. it really has made a good difference in power. haven't gotten it over to the drag strip yet but you can see/hear the car in the link in my signature. i love the a6 and my goal is 14s N/A. any other questions just ask.

my setup:
i/h/e, cat replaced with resonator, ebay fart pipe, 2.25inch piping, crane cams cam stage 2, skunk2 cam gear set at 3* advanced.

they seem to perform really well when you open up the ports in the head and let them breathe

If your gonna open it up do what 90crxsi said. Otherwise you can use a y8 head gasket to bring you c/r up to 10.3 A 58mm integra TB will bolt to your manifold. And some head work will work wonders, but make sure the shop that does it takes into consideration the mods you have or plan to do.

what year integra throttle body fits? I did a search and it said a 90 should fit and it looks like it will the only problem is the iac valve, i think it is, is on the tb. the integra tb has the iac on the intake.

if you use a Y8 or Z6 intake mani, pretty much ANY TB from B series will fit. or H. i heard S2K TB fits also.

if your staying NA use a 90-91 teg TB on the Y8 manifold...58mm. its set up pretty much the same as the a6 TB...MAP on firewall, dashpot, and uses charcoal canister.

the eacv/iacv is on the back of the manifold on the manual tranny Y8 manifold...on the auto its on the TB. use the manual tranny Y8 manifold.

heres pics of what im talking about:
