I was wondering what u guys thought about the spark racing intercooler. The dimensions are 28x9x2. That seems a little on the thin side but they say it is good up to 400hp. What do u guys think? It looks like a nice intercooler and its cheap at only $295. Im shootin for ~350hp will this work? Thanks

That looks like a Starion intercooler all spiffed up....and with the inlet/outlet on the sides...and 2" inlet/outlet....that should start choking the flow

 

isnt this to tall to fit on the 92 95 sohc? im looking for one, that I wont have to cut the bumper support.

 

i have one on my SOHC. Its is a sweet piece. good value.

Hey n00b, who asked you? Sorry, just had to be an ***...glad to see your back...

I would say the inlet/outlet are a little small, should maybe me 2/2.5 or so. Also, 2" is a little thin. Otherwise, it looks GREAT!!! those are some very nice endtanks.

 

maybe someone should advise spark to provide a 3" deep core model.

I have it mounted on my '92 b16a2 hatch. Unfortanetly it hangs about 1.5 inch under the stock bumper WITH an EX Lip mounted RIGHT under the bumper support.

The dimensions of the IC i posted or the one i'm getting are: 31x10.5x2.75

for the extra &lt;$100 I'd get the precision, better design/overall quality, bigger inlet/outlet, perfect dimensions for 92-95's no cutting at all! I paid like $320 shipped brand new.
